QRIS and Family Engagement - a Strengthening Families(TM) Approach

Hosted by the BUILD Initiative and the QRIS National Learning Network

Increasingly, state QRIS standards and criteria reflect the importance of involving families as partners to support high-quality early care and education programs. While states are taking different approaches to defining and documenting family engagement standards, a growing number of states are drawing on the Center for the Study of Social Policy's (CSSP) Strengthening Families(TM) Protective Factors Framework and implementation tools to inform their criteria and support programs to achieve higher levels of quality. This webinar will highlight findings and key examples from a new CSSP issue brief, State Approaches to Integrate Strengthening Families in QRIS, and feature speakers with experience implementing the approach at the state- and program-level.
