Presenter Biographies: 

Jani Kozlowski holds an MA in Child Development and has worked in the Early Care & Education field for over 20 years.  She currently serves as a Senior TA Specialist for the Professional Development & Workforce Initiatives Center at Zero to Three.  Prior to this, Jani was the Program & Policy Resources Section Chief at the Division of Child Development.  She has also worked as the Early Education Specialist for the NC Partnership for Children, provided TA to Head Start programs, taught community college courses and was a Pre-K teacher many years ago!

Anne Mitchell is President of Early Childhood Policy Research, and co-founded the Alliance for Early Childhood Finance. She has written widely on early care and education policy, finance reform and system-building and has worked with more than half of U.S. states and dozens of foundations, as well as with federal agencies and national organizations. Previously she worked at Bank Street College of Education in New York City and directed child care centers in Massachusetts and Vermont. She has a degree in astronomy from Wellesley College and master’s in education leadership from Bank Street. Anne is an elected member and president of the Greenville (NY) Board of Education and is a Past-President of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She has received awards from the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children, the Bank Street College Alumni Association, Scholastic, Inc., National Louis University, the New York State Child Care Coordinating Council and the New York State and the National Associations for Family Child Care. Anne lives in Greene County near Albany, NY.

·         one to three areas you want to focus on, and
