As part of QRIS, both Michigan and the District of Columbia rate the quality of early childhood settings using a common set of standards and assessment tools that are aligned with each state’s standards of quality. During this session, both Michigan and DC will share how the data generated through the use of quality assessment measures, the Program Quality Assessment in Michigan and the Classroom Assessment Scoring System in the District of Columbia, are used to inform continuous quality improvement at multiple levels.
