Kansas Initiative for Developmental Ongoing Screening (KIDO) Toolkit
The KIDOS Toolkit is structured around four phases of action—from generating ideas and dialogue through sustaining action and impact. Although the Toolkit is organized in such a way as to guide communities from the formation of a Community Implementation Team all the way through evaluating results and communicating lessons learned, communities aren’t limited to using the Toolkit in a linear fashion. Rather, the Toolkit should be viewed as a menu of tools and resources. Communities are invited to browse the Toolkit, selecting the resources that best fit the community’s needs. This flexibility allows the Toolkit to be beneficial to all communities, regardless of their starting place.
