Measuring Child Outcomes in the Early Years

As concern increases over how specific public policies affect children in the early years, establishing cause and effect and estimating the benefits to young children puts increased technical demands on assessment. The Center on Enhancing Early Learning Outcomes released Measuring Child Outcomes in the Early Years which provides information to inform decision-making regarding the assessment of young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing for state and national assessments designed to influence early childhood education policy and practice.
