Session 2: In-Person Meeting "Deep Dive into Understanding the Provider Perspective on Quality Improvement Incentives"

Participants will use the Provider Cost of Quality Calculator (PCQC) to understand whether their current payment rates and policies allow child care providers to sustain a high quality program, and how specific state-level policy changes impact providers’ net revenue. Discussions will include the potential use of the PCQC to support the requirements in reauthorization (including the use of cost modeling as an alternative to the Market Rate Survey).
