This session employs a legal and policy framework to understand how "quality" is defined, measured, and supported for family child care settings, with a particular focus on children and providers from socially disadvantaged and marginalized groups. Including discussion of recent Robert Wood Johnson Foundation-funded projects, the session will highlight research findings as well as next steps and best practices through a systems approach, with specific attention to policy strategies.
